We can preserve your classic vinyl (LP 33 1/3 RPM) records and audio cassettes by recording them to CDs. You must own the records and audio cassettes. This is a one-time, one-copy service, unless they are your original or personal recordings. The charge is $20.00 per record or audio cassette transferred (without track creation) to digital CD-R. There is an additional charge for transfers with track creation, removal of tape hiss, tape speed control to overcome tape warp, and case labeling. Sales Tax and shipping is also extra. A digital CD-R will hold up to 80 minutes of audio.
If you would like an MP3 copy of your transfer, the fee is $10.00. Please provide your own portable USB flash drive for the transfer.
Analog videotapes loose their quality every day. . To save your precious memories, have us transfer your family home movies and wedding movies on videotape to DVD. DVDs can last 50 years or more. We will not transfer copyrighted videotapes to DVD, unless you or we own the copyright.
Kalton Communications can transfer VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, Hi8 and Mini-DV videotapes to DVD.
We charge $25 per DVD. A DVD will hold up to two hours of video. If the total length of the video on the tape exceeds 120 minutes, it will be transferred to two DVDs and the charge will be $50.
You may combine up to four short video tapes on one DVD, as long as the total length of combined video does not exceed 120 minutes. There is no extra charge for combining short video tapes on one DVD.
Disc label and slimline case are rincluded in price. We transfer your videotapes to DVD-R's.
Any editing of video footage prior to transfer will be charged at $45.00 per hour.
Convert Video On Tape To Digital File
We can convert video on your tapes to digital video files, then place them DVD's or USB drives.
We charge $25 to convert one video tape to a digital
file. You have a choice of .wmv or .mp4 your digital video file format. Each DVD will hold up to 4.7 BG of video. Customer must provide appropriate USB drive.
DVD Disc label and slimline case is included in price.
Any editing of video tapes prior to conversion will be charged at $45 per hour.
Kalton Communications can design and print your on-disc labels and case labels.
Kalton Communications can duplicate CDs and DVDs
We can duplicate Mini-DV videotapes that you own the copyright to or those that we recorded for you.
Duplication is priced per job. Contact us for a quote on videotape, CD and DVD duplication prices.
Kalton Communications will not duplicate videotapes, CDs or DVDs in which you do not own the copyright.
